Should be able to turn your k band on for cameras.

A radar detector is a licence to speed I sometimes break the speed limit but if caught its my own fault not the police now I'm older and like to spend money on things I want instead of tickets I've slowed down pretty fukn simple and it hasn't made that much difference to my travel times
Having a radar detector doesn't automatically make you a speed demon.
I don't generally speed but if I had a radar detector it would have saved me a $30 fine for apparently doing 95 in a 90 area during a momentarily lack of concentration.
Just like not having one doesn't make you law obedient
Ha ha ha he is the current bubble weight champ though

I have one as I do 50,000+km per year.
I got pissed off getting nailed by coppers sitting on the passing lane. Too many tickets for doing 106-112kmh.
So is an Escort Passport Max the best one to get for NZ conditions ?
A big fast bullet beats a little fast bullet every time
Well I'm weighing it up. And it's that or the escort redline. The redline has a bit more range but no gps telling you where the pole cameras are. But a big thing for me is the radar detector being un-detectable. (Iv been hassled before and why let them know) the redline is un-detectable but I don't think the passport max is.
They seem to be on special at most places now until the end of the month. But still $1000
@Alonzo what model is your one? Seemed to be the business.
Mines the passport max, seemed to be the best at the time. Seems to do the trick.
Gps on the max is great! It lets you mark spots that are not in the preloaded database as you drive. The gps is also epic for marking and muting false alarms like those digital "slow down" signs.
