You guys are lucky to have them ,not so here in Oz, spend more time glancing at my speedo when should be concentrating on road , real easy to miss speed reduction sign in heavy traffic , like others say , only revenue collecting ,road toll increasing , last cop that booked me I told them don't expect help from me when your getting the shit kicked out of ya.... didn't go down well.....

Hopefully you don't expect their help when you're having the shit kicked out of you. But yet they still will.

Yes aparently in oz you can't have them and the cops have a thing called a sniffer. Which detects radar detectors. So you need one that is un-detectable. Which would be the kind with the magnesium case. Beltronics sti or escort redline. So I'm learning they don't detect detectors in nz. So my choice has been swayed back now from some of my other posts.

I use an escort 9500xi. Best investment I have ever made. Im not a speeder, but it is comforting to know you can do 110-15 when passing those fecking idiots who do 80-90 and then do 110 on the passing lanes. It picks them up miles off. Would highly recommend escort as a brand, read the reviews online and they reckon it is now the best radar brand available.
