Navaras are ugly looking things with flat decks, stick wayyyyy to far out past the back wheel.

Toyota should make the old hiluxs again, that'll put them 10yrs ahead maca

or a 4.5 TT Diesel. My old man has the 200 series landcruiser and that has got some serious towing power. I dragged off some little shit in his Silvia with a 2 tonne cherry picker on the back. Was eating my dust! lol You can get the same engine in a landcruiser Ute. That would be a pretty cool wagon

Not for me Mr Maca. I have other plans and unless it was a gun smith job nothing would change my current plan

I really dont get the 2l turbo or 2.8 turbo it has to blow up.

Pull ya head out of your arse, the cars you grew up with made 8 or 10 horsepower, the cars i grew up with made 50-70hp.

When turbos first started coming out in popular vehicles everyone cried " dont buy one of them it will blow up!" they didnt or at least not in any numbers and even then only 10 years down the track after a shit load of abuse.

You think these factory's don't test this shit? Its a very simple equation to get torque and hp from firing pressures and thrust on crank etc, and from these figures arrive at a safe bearing journal diameter and width with modern materials.

If your new diesel Ute motor is going to shit itself you can be 99% sure its fuel system related, thats where they get the power and thats where the fuel supply and the vehicles filtering hasent kept up with the play...............Yet.

Technology moves on and improves, if it dint we would all be trying to shoot targets and animals at over 1000y with rudimentary open sights and a round lead bal.l

Yep Mitsibushi Tredias? Were a great example of a turbo vehicle, along with many others, 2 litres on a ute the size of the amarok does compute, my cossie put out 250 hp, 2 litres, but I wouldn't want it in a ute!

If I bought anything other than a Landcruiser or a Patrol it would be a Ranger. Even then I'd still have to spend $10-15K getting it to the point where it was actually practical to take off road
