Thread: Runva winches

-Not keen on Tirfor as I have limited space inside the truck and I want something that will always be on board, so I don't get caught out with the old 'Oh I won't need that this time' 'whups'
-Have a Hi-lift jack and gear to use it for winching as a mechanical backup (this is why I haven't bothered to buy a winch yet)
-Have an ARB bar so I'm set up for a conventional winch mounting setup already, not willing to spend more on new barwork etc, won't be any change to my approach angle

Will test anything I get every so often (probably before trips where it may be needed) & am comfortable taking a winch apart and greasing the heck out of it.

@Tertle - nope, haven't really been trying

Got a terrain tamer 9500lb been on for 18months and used a dozen or so times. Seems to work and haven't done any maintance on it yet
