Back in '07 is witnessed some guys shooting across the bonnet of a (then) late model rental Hilux. One guy didn't have sufficient muzzle clearance and put a couple of rounds through the lump in the centre of the bonnet. From memory it smashed up the plastic fantastic engine cover and a few other parts. Good times.

Been away on 17th wedding anniversary trip with Mrs but without the kids (YUSSS!!)

Job took me about 12hrs in total with all the mucking around.
We are getting more and more of these issues arise now. Most end up with broken cables or controls as well as people force them when they jam up.
Majority of the jams are spend cases, but we do get pens, pencils and other stuff from when builders/sparky's etc chuck stuff up on the dash.

My boss did that with my work truck a few years ago, Mazda Bounty. Had 2 nice holes right at the front of the bonnet, went through and through and didn't hit anything else, holes were still there when we traded it in.

Mikee's problems sound similar to a mate at the moment, brand new Ford Ranger hydraulic'd driving through a puddle, water splashed up inside of dealer fitted front bullbars and into airbox, Insurance blames him, he blames the dealer, crate motor is on it's way and one of them is paying 20k for it
