How does the whole WOF thing and emissions mods work here in NZ nowdays?

How about a straight swap for a 1992 70 series 5cyl diesel, no turbo.
360,000 k's
almost one owner, nearly museum condition.

A mates having trouble with a late model hilux dpf system and Toyota are considering removing it all together to fix the issue so by that thinking it can’t be a wof issue?

I am not picking holes I am genuinely interested but I wouldnt have thought it legal to disable/remove emissions control devices.....if it is mine will be gone by the end of the week.

Yea your probably right but unlikely to ever get picked up on it, I know a lot of utes and hiaces with them removed and no ones the wiser. The guy that deleted my brothers described dpf as choking the motor on its own shit

Thanks 40mm, but part of the problem at my place is I don't have any room. The trooper hogs all the space in the garage and my other car sits out in the weather and the salt air all the time.
