Hmm.... it does when you first click on it even though it starts with the base 3.6
In that link you have to actually put in the 3,6R premium or limited , then it changes to the correct one. if you then go back and imput the base model it is the 5 speed shiftable.

If you scroll down to transmission without adjusting the top link from the base 3.6r model it will show 5 speed shiftable automatic.
is a glitch in the sheet on the top row.

all other research show it is not the CVT spec on that model.

    Anyway
I won't buy one with the CVT so I'll make damn sure it isn't before I do, if I do
Thanks gonetropo I wouldn't have known that transmission was a problem if you hadn't of answered the thread.

Get one of these, it's getting harder to find a good one but if you do it's worth it

Ahh forums... ask for advice/feedback on something and its practically guaranteed that at least one person will suggest something totally different instead!

May as well suggest one of these, its much more fun on a twisty road and economical as well:

The stupidest thing about them is that they are constantly variable (perfect) and the manufactures put "gear" steps into the variation thereby removing the very thing that makes them good.

Are people still paying more money than they cost new?
Even more if low kms (under 400,000kms).

I picked mine up just over a year ago for $25750.00 and it's done 141000 km's pretty mint. I believe they were $41000,00 brand new. I will never sell mine, I'll keep it for life. I love it

This is my big brothers beast, he paid $35000,00 for it when it was 1.5 years old, it now owes him over $75000,00 with all the modifications: diff locks etc. He has taken me places where I have got out and walked for fear of flipping the thing since the terrain was so steep. There's almost nowhere that this thing won't go, he has picked me and my deer up out of some scary places that had me shitting trou! It has only done 123000 km's.

I agree some of them are cheap and nasty but that is not the transmissions fault.

No good down south. If they grit the road in winter it will probably belly out.
