What are Goodridge tyres?? Never heard of them? Must be something real special but rare?

I actually thought for a moment you were comparing another tyre brand - i have used Goodrides M/T on my earlier 4wd with 10 ply side walls. Never let me down off road and over 3 years no punctures before selling the vehicle with good tread still all around. Though was not my daily drive. Have a couple of mates at work who now use Goodrides off road and swap back to road tyres as required. I can never imagine an expensive tyre that for example is rated for 80,000k having usable off road tread left?? When my Maxxis AT wear down a bit, likely to get another set of Goodrides?
