I bought this little beast a couple of weeks ago and tried it out on the lake on Saturday, I did a bit of water skiing as well while I was at it. I was pleased with it's performance and the Toyota Lexus V8 purred along beautifully, I hope I get many enjoyable hunting trips out of it.

I have had it doing 5000 but didn't hold it flat so not sure, I was just taking it easy first day out. Just testing the waters so to speak

Pretty sure the Lexus puts out peak HP at about 5200rpm in standard form, so the pitch & nozzle OD must be about the right match.

Lexus V8 motors are great in jetboats, I've had two boats with them & never had any problems apart from having to change the leads on the second one, I also put a Cam kit in which upped the HP.

Looks like it needs a new air filter, every 50hrs oil & filters & give the jet unit bearing a couple of pumps of grease.

enjoy they are a lot of fun

What sort of fuel usage would a boat like this use with the Lexus (very nice in the Cruisers I do know)
I realise it depends on hull - load etc - but approx lph (or gph)
