air bags are for pussies anyway.
If vehicle is over 14? (or there abouts) years old you can remove the airbags and anything that says airbag and cert it. Does make the whole bulbar process a bit more expensive though

Does that mean you HAVE to remove anything that says airbag from the interior? Things like dash and steering wheel panels.

When I last looked into doing it you weren't allowed to have anything in the vehicle that stated AIRBAG, so swapping steering wheel for non airbag unit, disable dash lights if applicable, if (AIRBAG) imprinted in the dash it had to be hidden/removed also

Must remember to make sure the next one is non-airbag too. None at present have them.

I think if you need airbags in a van crash its not going to help much...... iv heard the drivers ankles get well mangled by the pedal box etc! sounds bad, but I guess it is good motivation for keeping an eagle eye!

@madjon did you make your own winch plate? I want to do a bull bar and winch on mine, going to have to be a home made bull bar though as the only one I can find is an arb for 1300 bucks ooossshhh

1300 isn’t cheap, but it bolts straight on, fits nicely, has a winch mount, and is compliant.

Fair enough, it's still 800 more than I want to pay, happy to fit it myself not worried about compliance as it's non airbag, too easy☺

Yeah, pays to watch what's happening, read other drivers and drive conservatively. The elevated driving position helps on that score.
