One thing that still brings a smile to my face was the XR200RD warranty. They would only warrant it for races of up to 72 hours duration. No faith in their product.

Bloke that used to work on our farm had one of the older CR500s which had even more go than the last ones, thing was bloody nuts! Took it for a blat down the road and it was interesting trying to keep the front wheel on the ground through all the gears, I have been on bikes since I could walk, rode motocross competitively during my teens, and still ride trail rides etc to this day, so I wouldn't call myself an amateur but that bike was just stupid crazy!
There is an outfit in the states putting brand new kx500 engines in the brand new 4t frames and selling them.
"Hunting and fishing" fucking over licenced firearms owners since ages ago.

That's a nice bike @BRADS, I see 2t muffler in the background, cant beat a two stroke on song, nothing like it
Yes, i can do that here easy enough, there are a few complete motors on ebay in the UK for $900

My last bike was a 2011 KXF250 alloy frame that had a kx250 2 stroke shoehorned into it, nice bike, rode the 2 stroke as is for a year or two before I stumbled upon the alloy frame bike blown up for cheap on trademe and had the local engineers do all the mounts for me, the newer bikes definitely have nicer suspension and point a lot nicer. Sold it last October after breaking my sternum on a mates bike (bloody Yamaha!)and currently bikeless. Will probably look at a KTM if I buy again as they are the only outfit that are putting any thought into their two strokes still.
