I have found the Yamaha two strokes to be a very lively chassis, no amount of playing around with suspension settings seems to rectfy this for me, I have the xrays to prove this theory too haha

A DRZ400 is pretty hard to beat for a fast farm bike. That said if I won lotto I would look at down sizing from my old Husaberg 501 to a 200 or 250EXC KTM

Sherco are definitely worth a look in the twostrokes.

I fell in love with the 300 on a demo day, however a boat is safer and I cant pay the mortage with broken limbs and that is what would happen if I bought another bike

Size: 790.4 KBIf you like the 500 2t then the 690 enduro will be right up your ally...

Pussys will say it has too much power for dirt... Mine has a very similar delivery to the 500s, which I recon is about right

Enduro rider calling people pussies, of the irony

Are those handles at the back to hang your handbag from?

    I can't talk, I haven't even got a bike anymore.

I'll say it's light for what it is... Certainly lighter than any other bike in its class... With 1/3 more power...

But I guess realistically if I wasn't as big as I am, it would be a bit of handful.

Back on the XR650 - the R version is a fantastic bike if you can find one, plenty of power and a totally different bike to the standard XR series.

Yip it's a neat track... Very hard on tyres but pretty fun overall. I need to cut a new track soon so wil run the machine round and change it up a bit.

Had a TE450 Husqvarna - crushed 2 lumbar vertebrae and 6 weeks off work.
Decided that was too strong, so bought an Yam 250 trailbike - crushed 2 thoracic vertebrae and 5 weeks off work.
Both times, my 'experience' ruined a couple of beaut weekends away with mates - and my employment record.
Last time I crashed on a road bike was when I was an apprentice at Air NZ - 3 1/2 weeks off work and light duties in the office for 8 weeks.
    Haven't 'gone to ground' since.
    Currently riding a BMW R1200RT - magic.
