    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

    I had a practice run today. I drove to Turangi and back to exchange trucks. See ya Saturday.

    @tac a1 and I are going to have a 'test firing' of the bonfire tomorrow night. Just to make sure it works...and see if we need to make it bigger or smaller for the 12-15 bods turning up

    Then we will see if we can get some fresh venni, as this bugger just turned up a few days ago at the back of the farm

    One day we will all catch up and it maybe in heaven or hell or Valhalla but by fuck it sure as shit it will one bloody fantastic gathering!

    2 degrees overnight, so am going to redesign the bonfire today with the assistance of @tac a1 to get some more boogie out of it for more people sitting around gas bagging.

    Marsh mellows were yummy...once the cook got the cook time right

    Weather update: The odd bit of drizzle coming through in skiffs. Wind has dropped to nil and its about 5 degrees warmer than the last few days.

    Bears little semblance to the old weather forecast for today... funny old thing
