Would have been keen (again), but at least this time I've got an excuse other than work travel - will be in Fiordland for the second period of the Wap ballot.

@tac a1 and I are going to have a 'test firing' of the bonfire tomorrow night. Just to make sure it works...and see if we need to make it bigger or smaller for the 12-15 bods turning up
Then we will see if we can get some fresh venni, as this bugger just turned up a few days ago at the back of the farm
edit: yeah yeah yeah, I can't be buggered formatting the date/time shit on the camera.
Solid animal , looks like a heavy carry , he’s fat as mud !
I’m sure you folk will have an epic night of yarns and laughter and amazing food ..enjoy the bonfire!
One day we will all catch up and it maybe in heaven or hell or Valhalla but by fuck it sure as shit it will one bloody fantastic gathering!
Enjoy yourself gentlemen!
Nil durum volenti !!
looks like I need to get my altezza running before May so can't come sadly.
2 degrees overnight, so am going to redesign the bonfire today with the assistance of @tac a1 to get some more boogie out of it for more people sitting around gas bagging.
Marsh mellows were yummy...once the cook got the cook time right
Throw some diesel on it, some members on this forum know how to crank up a good bonfire.
Yum! Deisol flavoured marshmellows
Summer grass
Of stalwart warriors splendid dreams
the aftermath.

Weather update: The odd bit of drizzle coming through in skiffs. Wind has dropped to nil and its about 5 degrees warmer than the last few days.
Bears little semblance to the old weather forecast for today... funny old thing
