Is this shoot still going ahead?
Right'o punters hers's the latest on the Shoot.
I've been speaking to Brads & after todays announcement of more level 3 restrictions & the uncertainty of what bloody lever / travel restrictions are coming from week to week we have decided to sadly Cancel the TB Shoot for this year.
Whether you agree with Lockdowns or not & all this other C19 crap ( NO I'm certainly not a fan of this current government & Covid BS ) they are the rules & we don't want to be responsible for a forum get together turning into a "super spreader" event. The press would have a field days with over hyped lies & would be a PR disaster for the already harassed legal Firearms owners of NZ.
I know it's not what people were wanting to hear but the call needed to be made & with two weeks to go hopefully this hasn't be to much of an inconvenience for people, certainly with the current situation it makes planning & organizing event's a complete nightmare. We could of postponed, but it's easier just to cancel for now.
If you wish for a refund of the entry fee PM Brads, the remaining dollars in the Kitty will be donated to the CCS
Shoot it, root it & then BBQ it !!!
Unfortunately it's the right call to make Philipo.
Lets just hope for more sensible "rules" for next year.
