Thanks for a great morning out and many thanks to your lovely wife for lunch Pete.

Was good to get a look threw the various scopes and binos side by side.
I particularly liked the 1.5-9 power with the driven game rectle....would be fantastic on a bush rifle.

I really liked the Delta Titainium HD SFP ?? on Petes rifle and it would be my Pick of them as a dual purpose scope. The 4.5-30HD was bloody good too though. I like the turrets, Zero stop really simple and nice reticle and had a nice clear pic. I would say better/clearer than my NSX 5.5-22x. Pretty good value I though at just less than $3K?

Was good to look thru all the others. Actually nice to see them in the flesh

Thanks to Bruce, Pete and his lovely assistant...I only went for the food really
It was great to see those young fellas give it a go, and good fun shooting a couple of rifles that belonged to other good men.

it was raining and clagged in at 0700 but turned into a nice day. Burnt some gun powder, had a few laughs and a top lunch ( Cheers Mrs Sarvo) An all round good day
I would agree with @mikee, the titanium 4-24 was the standout for me though Im not into the bigger tac scope at all so there is a bias there. I had the 4-24 for a coupe of days and was planning to do a more through review with some side by sides but unfortunately life got in the way and I ran out of time. I will say that it is a typically good LOW product. Quality build, good turrets with a zero stop option, solid audible clicks and plenty of internal adjustment . Illumination has enough options for day or night use without washing out the image. Glass is very good, first impressions would put it in the VX5 class plus or minus. The image does soften a little as it gets over 20x but this is a sub 2k optic so to be expected. Given the features I think it would be one of if not the the best value illuminated 4-24 scopes on the market today. The 2.5-15 should be as well.

Thanks to everyone who made today happen
    Weather turned out great

You guys sure know your stuff re Long range shooting
I think I have been guilty of over estimating some of my earlier shots on game :-)
    300m is a long way when it’s a target - not to mention 6 - 8 - 1500m etc

Big thanks to Bruce Harvey – for the range and his very hands on assistance etc
My accountant Hamish and his mate Christo with their 4 boys from Blenheim totally enjoyed their day.

I will special the two Delta scopes mounted and used today.
Not the Stryker and Javelin as they are the bosses own LR scopes (big thanks to Ian at Delta Optical NZ)

So these two – no ring marks – as new.

Delta Titanium HD 4-24×50 SFP Illuminated - with Interchangeable Turrets
    Delta Titanium HD 1.5-9x45

    PM me for price

Looks like a plurry good day, I wish I had been able to attend. Even if it was just to help Pengy taste the food.
