I'll try and get there but not wasting 40 rounds on gongs when the last 20 rounds cost me $54.

Awesome day thanks @Gillie, Vince, Jasen and all the marshalls. The Dannevirke weather sure makes for a challenge! @Blaser. You will be running in shackles with a 22LR next time.

As long as the back door isn't loose all is right in my world.

    How's your ring(s) mate?

Thanks everyone, yes we had a good day except for the very light shower of rain about 1pm

A great bunch of competitors turned out to challenge themselves against the courses we had set out. I thought the course difficulty was just about right - everyone got something and no one got everything!
We did have a couple of timing hiccups that caused some delays at a couple of shoot stations - this affected some competitors times and hence they lost some points. We have some ideas on how to deal with this next year. Overall, though the day ran pretty smoothly!

I have been through the small amount of photos I got and these photos and the results have been emailed out to those people that gave me their emails. I am missing a couple of emails though so if you haven't got the results and would like them then get in touch. I'll put some photos on here and the facebook page tonight.

Thanks guys for organising this. Awesome fun. The running between stations is excellent as it simulates a real life hunting situation rather than the standard 100m deer stalkers shoots. Happy with 2nd (sort of!) but need to run a bit quicker!

You pulled off some awesome shooting to get to second. The scores were very tight between Blaser and yourself - as we discussed there if neither yourself or Blaser were held up at shoot stations you probably would have won it on your shooting. Coulda, shoulda, woulda at this stage but I am glad you enjoyed the day!
