    Well, I'd like to thank Vince too - a wonderful host for strangers and old mates alike. He rang around the evening before to find an extra range marshal volunteer so Jasen could take part and Gillie leant him his special gun to shoot it with. Also thanks to the marshalls (again including Vince) and specially whoever stepped up at the last minute.

    Yes he's got that sub calibre weapon well in hand now. That's what you get when you go steady for a couple of months.

    I also saw what's got to be a "til death do us part" top notch weapon there, a .308 sako with 40 yo kahles so battered it was mostly silver but still going strong. Owner was the same.

    Wots that new looking Leupold scope you've got there Philipo? Looks very interesting.

    I had a look at that too, put it this way on a high zoom even a 2 inch target at 500yrds would fill the view finder LOL

    Yup did more running than I should and am.firstly admit body's still sore today......although I had a good fall when I went forbade hunt after lol. @Gillie does have another pic of me looking slimmer maybe it didnt make it through editing lol hopefully none show me sweating like a pig

    @HNTMAD I can run that picture through processing and post it if you like. You do look somewhat slimmer but your facial expression looks like you were either desperately trying to take a dump or desperately trying not to...
