Every time this rolls around Im on call. You can either get really pissed on Saturday night or leave your bang stick at home too @andyanimal31.
Are the HB guys still jacking up a hunt on the burn Saturday?

As you all know taihape is a classy place!
Well the shoot is done and dusted with about 27 shooters turning up for as it turned out a sunny but a bit windy day.
P38 must have got lost as no sign of him on sunday!
Next year is the 60th aniversary for the shoot so are tossing around the idea to have a clay shoot on saturday afternoon from the trust hut that pita is keen on organising.
Also would like to get Some of the past shooters there since we have got the old site back thanks to the trust.
Oh and the result was the cup stays safe and sound on west side of the range!
Thanks for every body turning up and sat nite was a good one as well.
Tell me what ya think would be a good plan for the 60th to

    Good on ya Taihape

Mum had me on the water blaster all day and promised to sleep with me if I stuck at it until the job was done otherwise I'd have been there and that Cup would have been heading East that's for sure.

However it's been preordained, written in the stars, turned up in the cards, seen in the Goat entrails etc. , that the Cup will definitely return to the East on the auspicious occasion of the 60th event.

Besides in ten years time no one will remember who won it on the 59th shoot.

    Congratulations again.

    Cheers
    Pete

Ginga and I were feeling generous to our Western comrades, Rob Undies is regretting not bringing his 222 and P38 had "other" duties plus any other slack excuse I can find.

Congrats Taihape. We will try to offer more resistance on the 60th!

Yep looking forward to the 60th showdown!
Also dont forget the old smokestick open sight trophy is for every body to have a crack at as it seems some of you bay boys didnt realise that.
I just used my model 60 marlin 22 as thats the only rifle I have with open sites so dont forget them next year!
