Back then everyone brought a rifle or three & we had a LR shoot & trophies, how times have changed aye. Plan at the mo is for a rather layed back occasion, as Harry pointed out, sort your own accommodation at the Kurow campground, currently they're not hosting any large events that weekend ( unlike in 2018 where we competed with the jetboat guys ) so there will be the large community space to use with attached Kitchen area.

My thoughts are that we go across the road to the Pub for dinner both nights & people do their own thing for breakfast - lunch, the kitchen is there to use

Saturday's entertainment will depend on numbers & we'll hatch a plan closer to the date, could be a Wallaby hunt, station road trip or something else, will leave it open for now.

Be great to catch up with everyone & have a Jammies to honor a true GC
Count me and my tent in again. I'll pass on the Jammies though. Be good to catch up with everyone again, particularly you offshore islanders.

I would love to come and meet some of the good forum folk however it would all depend on how the lawn bowls seaon goes as the South Canterbury finals are on that weekend.

It would be good to put a few names to faces and a great oppertunity with only living a short drive away.

I guess I'll see what happens

Unfortunately I won't be able to catch up as we made the finals of the South Canterbury lawn bowls competition to be played all day Saturday.

Sunday playing Rep bowls for North Otago all day, glad to be playing top level bowls but disappointed not to be able to meet a few of you guys.

Hope you all have a good time remembering Owen
