My son got pissed around with this price matching claim. Can't recall what the power tool package was but they were identical items at both places. When he tried to call in the price match, the store said the SKU numbers were different. Technically correct but it was only a packaging diff. He didn't win.

Ten years back i brought a dewalt sabre saw 240v and bunnings had to price match, can't remember what i paid but it was a bargain.

I got a "Karcher" waterblaster recently, there was 1 letter different in the model number between stores staff member said it was for that reason

Makita as well impact driver, drill, reciprocating saw and skill saw. SDS and angle grind are mains power.
I do like the new yellow SDS drill though. It’s got a light! Really handy for loft spaces etc where you can’t see sod all.
Have malwik for my pipe cutter and press fit tool. Both are good.
Trying to keep them all the same so I don’t have to buy multiple batteries and chargers.

We need screwfix over here used to be great as they would courier to building sites if you broke a tool, order before 9am to get delivery by 4pm same day.

Yeah there good even better now that tool station is up an running the competition keeps em honest.

I've been useing battery tools since they first came out in the 80's, I wouldn't go past makita
,been running there impact drivers for fascia installation last 20 yrs,
The bigger 18v battery's run for days,
That's driving screws in wood and rivet holes,
For cheap accessories ✨ like nut drivers etc I've found the trade depo the cheapest by far

Have you thought about Ryobi and they have a good warranty when something goes wrong use then a bit & can't complain for the price & they seem to have ever tool lol
