Another reason i like my Osprey pack

Just another reason i really like my Osprey Aether AG 70 ltr pack is that the top lid of the pack unclips and has its own separate straps to use as a day pack. Its big enough to hold a coat , food , water bottle and a couple of backstraps etc. You can still strap the pack down as normal with the lid removed.
Just another option if you are trying to keep the weight down. I usually clip my old huntech day bag onto the outside of the pack but its extra weight if you don't need it.Name: 20240121_135611.jpg

Does the blue attract wasps and bees? I have a blue pack and it seems to attract allot of love.

I've also been told deer see blue and therfore see my pack..... not sure on that one.

I recently brought an Aether plus 85. Unbelievably comfortable I have never walked any length of time with a tramping pack without being quite sore somewhere. Was simply amazed how it allowed me to carry a load so effortlessly.

Couldn't agree more mate, although i would hesitate to use the word 'effortlessly' when you have two legs of boned out venison plus backsteaks in your pack with your other gear . LOL
My brother has the 85ltr one and is very happy with it too.

I have an Osprey Atmos 65, and as others have mentioned, it really is a comfortable pack. Although, I do find I'm fighting with it putting it on sometimes, as the waist straps are so tightly preformed.

I've got the Aether AG 85 and love the removable lid too. And the warranty......... mice recently decided to chew through one of the waist pouch zips to access the museuli bar in there. Great thing is the repair will cost me noting :-)

    Most packs do.
Offset by the sounds of gasping for air and blood pumping futilely.

The squeaking is bad! Seems to be an osprey thing because the Poco does it too.
