Any one used these? Look cool, cost a fortune , but wondering how they operate on uneven ground in terms or tilt and pan and also how quickly they can deploy vs a Javelin?

I saw one aboutb12 mths ago, had a play on a rifle but wasn't actually that impressed....they may have changed by now...just felt the clol and unclip was a bit clunky....but not given it a real go and certainly haven't rushed out to get one.

Yes, I have the standard one (not carbon) which has the same attachment plate as the carbon and they are a bit clunky and have some movement in them. But having said that they work ok (the standard one).
I got hold of the Spartan folks and they will ship a Javelin Pro to NZ VAT free (-20%) the new pro hunter is a good product I checked it out in H&F at the weekend but wouldn't pay $650 when you can get them for $460? from the UK. Their Lite version is light and modular too. It's tempting now they have the flush mount adaptors, makes them even more stable and tidier.
I own a Backlanz Carbon and I am very impressed. From where they started a year ago when I first seen their products there has been a big improvement and they have made tweaks to the design. I think the main thing that sets it apart from the spartan for me is that you can keep the bipod on the rifle and the leg angle adjustments
Actually they won't - as a 'gun part' its a banned item now!! doh. I wonder if that's the same for a tripod??
