Thread: Backup jacket

A few years ago i walked into the local Macpac store with the intention of buying a puffer jacket, but instead walked out with a Macpac Sabre jacket. Its a soft shell type jacket with a fleece lining on the inside ,hood ,all the pockets you'd want , only rated as shower/windproof but i've been in some steady rain for several hours and stayed completely dry . With the fleece lining its a warm jacket to put on around camp or glassing etc, fairly light at 600 grams . Its always in my pack or day bag and on sale they are around $150 i think. Another option worth considering !
