It is hard for me to post photos, but a shoulder strap over right shoulder, bag on left. Strap around guts so it doesnt swing.

In my experience when looking for new kit, if Twinneedle make what you are looking for, then you should probably buy it from them.

I get too hot with Bino harnesses so changed to a camera strap and a Swazi ‘bino beret’. The camera strap is long enough that it can go over my shoulder when not in use that much or around my neck if I’m glassing.

I have a small cheap 40mm long Ali Express carabiner on my bino harness for just this event. I clip the two handles together and it cannot open!

Twinneedle. NZ made, solid as, can add pouches ect to them and nice and compact. When glassing regularly leave zips down and just use magnets. Pushing through scrub zip it up and they going nowhere.

Yeah I've got a spika one. It's got side and front pockets so can pack as much or little as you want. It's not too sticky outy, can still see my foot placement.
    Magnet closure is good.
My only gripe is the harness. It's not big enough or padded enough and straps cut into my shoulders/neck when wearing light layers.
It's the first one I've tried and been thinking of getting something more comfortable in the harness department. Badlands looks like a great harness but might be hard to go past twin needle by the sounds.

Strap length is the problem with the vortex one.... have only had it out the once and felt almost claustrophobic with it up so high... going to try a mates bushbuck one this evening... the twin needle units sounds like a good option, but am hesitant to fork out good money after bad....
Anyone in oamaru with a harness care to let me check theirs out would be appreciated.... the other issue is the size of the binos, most harnesses seem to accommodate up to 10x42s but not much more... oh well

Twinneedle bino harness is super handy and I'd recommend in a heartbeat.
Durable, great size, handy pouch down the back for phone or dropchart (or both), fits my 10x42 Vipers easy as.
I run the 4x2 small stacker pouch on front for range finder, mercator.

It takes a punishing and holding up well.
As H.M says, magnets are great for walking around glassing, then when bush bashing zip up one or both zips and binos are not going anywhere

I rate the Kuiu harness as well - super compact, comfortable harness and really nice one hand opening lid with no magnets ...

Running a gen 1 Twin needle harness. Nothing bad to say. Set of sig kilos in them with butler creek lens caps makes them pretty bulky to pull out. Not an issue as long as i dont stuff my phone in there too. Can still get them out no drama just a bit more faffing. Would buy again

I run Twin needle v2. Don't fuck around with others like I did. Just get one of these. Build quality is second to none.

Had the vortex, now have the hunter element.

My biggest issue is the magnetic closure affecting the Compas. Even at full arm stretch I'm always 15 to 20 degrees off north...

    Something to keep in mind.
