Huberds is good stuff for leather boots. Easy to apply & sold at H&F.

Ive used snoseal for a couple of years and have had the rubber randing start to peel off a couple of pairs. Lately found out that beeswax ie snoseal eats the glue ?

Brought some of this today to give it a hoon. Will see how it goes, certainly smells like it would repel most things including water...

The local cobbler here in Palmy reckons the waxes etc affect the glue and bonding between sole and leather of the boot, which ultimately leads to separation and boot failure. He reckons just use good old nugget to keep the leather conditioned and reduce the negative impacts on the glue.

Huberd's is bloody good. A hairdryer on low to heat the boot works pretty well with that stuff. granger's beeswax isn't too bad either.
