I bought a pair of the latest Hikers.
Rubber bottom and canvas or vinyl upper. Thinsulite lined.
    $100 bucks.
    Brilliant boots for the money.
I can move up slippery creeks and get around the bush with better traction than any other boot I have used.
Only drama with them is the sizing is buggered.
I normally wear a 10 UK and an 8 was perfect in the Hiker.

Yeh. I have worn these well, they are still basically new. I won't use again, your comments being the main reasons.
I've since purchased Aoraki's. I will never use another boot.

Hey Danny, I'm a closer to an 11 than a 10 but could try on a pair and see. They second hand are they? How much were you after?

Just read Scribes comment, might have to try a pair on and do a little more homework before I decide bullers or Ashley's

I wrote this before I realised you weren't selling them - Doh! No harm in giving these Ashley's a try.

I'll grab them out bro and double check the size. They actually may be 11's.

I can't really speak to any boot other than the classic Bog but they're exceptionally warm and comfy as long as you don't have to cover too much rough terrain; they're perfect for standing along the edge of a river. Having said that, after about 2 years one of mine developed a pinhole leak and all of the neoprene has worn out of the back of the heel, which makes for a pretty raw experience after a few kms.

I wouldn't recommend them unless you spend a lot of time on a quad bike or walking around paddocks.

I wear bullers - in certain spots. I find them pretty much ideal in lowland CNI bush, I wouldn't want to take them up anything serious though.

I saw a similar set of camo jobbies in RD1 @Pengy, I wonder it they were the same. May try a pair when my current bullers die - in another decade or two

Heres my current pair, 7 years young. Complete with custom racing slit up back and drain holes in the sole. even used to have cleats in the arch when I spent a lot of time sidling in east coast clay - no need these days
