Thread: Braces are great!

Belts are good for me usually but not so great when wearing a full pack as they clash with the hipbelt. Us little fellas need belts as often sizing is too big. Warehouse small or Farmers small is like others brands large.

Buy loggers braces from rigging or chainsaw shops. Another great piece of kit are bowyangs. These stop trou pulling on your knees especially when wet. If you make some from cord do not tie them too tight. My wife made me a few pair from inch wide elastic like of top band of jockey grunds.

I bought a pair for my motorbike pants a while ago. One of the best things I've bought since there was only 2 belt loops on the pants on the sides and the belt was always slipping off the back. Now I can walk around without having to keep pulling my pants up.
One of my other best purchases were the tall version boot drier. Putting on warm dry boots in the morning is my idea of heaven
