Brand new waterproof jacket has a stray thread.

Hi. I just received a brand new Ridgeline Roar II jacket I ordered from the online store and it has this thread coming out from near the cuff. The stiching doesnt appear to be coming undone, its just got this thread sort of poking out. Is this something I should be worried about? Could something bad happen like water getting in or the jacket unstiching itself? Or is this just a minor thing that wont do anythig bad? If it is a problem what should I do about it?

Thanks for any help anyone can give.

Give it a light tug, if it doesnt budge at all, then just cut it off.
If it does, then send it back.

Give them a ring to check anyway.

    I think its sweet myself

We had to dump our gear and Argo etc and bail from a spot when the river come up 6ft in 6 hrs (no exaggeration) and was still coming up.
Walked out for 5 hrs in the PISSING rain.
Was wet down the 'V' of my chest as the jacket wasnt all done up to my neck; dry otherwise
