Hey team,
I'm looking at putting just an extra layer of protection on my m2.
What's people's thoughts on either ceracoat vs duracoat?
Experiences with either?
Cheers bevan

I use Duracoat on all my rifles. Easy for diy, and if you apply it thick enough it really does a perfect job of protecting against scuffs, scratches and rust.
But preparation is key, and it does wear - but it can take a lot of punishment.
No experience with Ceracoat, but from what I’ve heard it is a great product as well - just not as diy friendly.

What you see, is what you get!
My factory cerakoted rifle (Sauer)has lost a bit of the coating after a couple of falls. Doesn't seem that durable because they weren't bad falls and I'm careful with my rifle. Once it's started flaking it's easy to come off.
Maybe aftermarket cerakote will be better.
Identify your target beyond all doubt because you never miss (right?) and I'll be missed.
