    Oh I thought it was one of johns creations.
    I am wondering how it would go if the blade was 5" or so. Would it make it look strange

    sorry, it is one of johns but it is a knife i use lol, This is not far off 5" why do you have 5" in your mind?? seams a big waste to me, Does everything you would need except possibly ringpieceing easily

    Well my current skinning knife and also general use knife and 5.75and 5.5 inches respectively. Skinning a castle beast or similar would be fairly slow with a smaller knife.

    Would it though?? Be interested in comment on people who have used big v small skinner. I have used a smaller one on deer and it actually made it easier to move around. Just my thoughts. If ya Gunna do it once do it right. Could always send to you to try??

    Have definitely found a blade around the 5" a more useful all round blade than the 3.5-4" ones I have (I'm talking thinner blades here, not some of the fatter skinners you run into)
