I had a wee go at this a couple of days ago (no charge P38). When you load a gpx into google earth desktop it converts it to a kmz and you can save it to My Places. For some crazy reason Google remove the ability to access My Places from Google Earth on Android and iOS so the only way to do it is to share it via google drive or one drive as the posts above say. Also google earth Android won't convert gpx to kmz so they have to be in the right format. img is a unique Garman format so that doesn't work either.

This thread should be a sticky and, @stretch should never go dry should he ever travel out of Clarks Beach.

The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

My mates son has a masters degree in computing so I went the easy route and invited him and his girl over for dinner tomorrow night.

I'm sure he will sort it out before his juicy steak comes off the BBQ.

    Cheers

Arguing with an Engineer is like Wrestling a Pig in Mud.

After awhile you realise the Pig loves it.
