There use to be quite a bit of the German jackets out there. I have an army poncho which I have never used and a gore-tex bivy bag in camo which I have never used.
I get by quite well with my Stoney Creek/Hunters Element/Macpac/Crapmandu gear
I've a German army parka that I bought from a surplus store in Berlin in 2002, it was located a few metres down the road from Checkpoint Charlie. It's good and warm but it's never been cold enough in Auckland for me to wear it. I really miss my Royal Navy great coat which was stolen in S.A. Warm as.

Used to have a couple of those German army sleeping bags - the ones with the arms and stuff, not sure what happened to those...

I use British Gortex rain wear and German boots. Good quality gear. The boots were a mixture of Lowa, Haix, Meindl. Full leather and someone else got the pleasure of breaking them in for me and keeping them polished. The rain gear I don't think was used.

Yeah, Pm'd him about gear quite soon after his initial post, Some of the stuff he is offering is the new camo pattern.
The army hasn't finished issuing that pattern to all of the current soldiers due to shortages which makes someone selling it a bit curious....

"Hey can you send me your private email and ill send it through to you. The clothing is a few smock type jackets all three are different cam, one is the standard DPM another is the desert cam used in Afghanistan and the new one is the new multi cam uniform the army is wearing now. I will send you pictures in an email. The tent is a standard military shelter with poles.

The wet weathers are the new gortex multi cam never been worn brand new."
