Looks like you got it sussed, I use wollen gloves for when wet and cold, would probably only take the stoney creek pants and use your merios for warmth, your 3rd time in so you know to be prepared to get wet and stay wet

Dont waste your time chasing every last fps, it doesnt matter in the real world, it wont make a difference, all it will do is cause head aches and frustrations. And dont listen to silly old cunts

Yep i am strongly considering dropping the kuiu pants, would save a bit of room in pack and weight when they eventually get saturated

Looks good, not sure I'd take two jackets? I'd probably trade the guide jacket for a down jacket.

Your food looks a bit light but you'll know how much you need. I always like to take a few mandarins, a couple of instant soups for cold days.

Could trade the guide for the kuiu kenai I have which is like a synthetic down jacket. only reason I have gone the guide is it's pretty wind proof, probably not as warm as the kenai tho

Also I would be inclined to take two smaller gas cylinders than one big one, if the valve shits itself (unlikely but have seen it happen and all the gas escaped) then you're left with zilch...

Probably depends on the type of block you have & how much time you expect to be glassing/sitting? I like a down jacket for glassing, sitting around camp at night when you are cold & hungry, they make a nice pillow & you can wear them to bed if it became necessary, the trick is keeping them dry down there?

Ya have thought about it but this was cheap as chips and it's technically lighter. Other benefits to multiple cylinders are you can track usage a bit better/conserve. I will probably stash on at drop off point as I'm planning on crossing back over after 5-6 days

Not sure on total weight as I don't have scales but it won't be much, I would class it as a light weight setup without being ultra light weight. Big savings on rifle/pack and my food isn't overly heavy. Not to many luxuries personal items either

I have the Edith so a bit of everything. Not planning on spending hours upon hours on the tops glossing (previous experience tells me I will be in the cloud most of the time anyway) and the big boys rarely walk out to far into the open.
