    Firelighting without flame or flint

Ok so many of you may know about this but some may not so thought I'd share it, I also make a kit for those interested.

Firstly potassium permanganate, you can use a few crystals to purify drinking water, you can use a 1/4 teaspoon to sterilize water to clean wounds and if you use it mixed with vegetable glycerin you get fire in snow or rain. Here's one of my methods, I carry 2 small bottles one filled with each and some lint from the dryer, awesome for use with a flint too!!

So your lighter is out of gas, your matches got wet and its pissing down, gather up dry tinder from the tops or flare out a dry stick with your knife sort all the dry bits then do this.

If anyone wants the two wee bottles I will sell it for cost which is about 20 bucks including the bottles and postage etc, but cheap enough to do it your selves too!!
Use responsibly and do not inhale the smoke, it can't be good.
