Actually, a forum order of GOOD 18650 batteries is a good idea.

In that post @mudgripz said hes talking to the guy that runs Mountain Electronics and might be able to get batteries here cheaper.. Think we should see how that goes before we look at a bulk buy

So I have now got a Roche F12 (which is a very nice single 18650 light) but I want to take the driver out to put a different one in. Problem is, the driver is held in by a press fit brass ring as in the pic. How the f**k do I get that ring out? I've already tried drilling part of the ring out but that hasn't worked

Haven't seen one of those but most I've drilled holes in the ring and unwound it using circlip pliers.

Unwound? Are you talking about ones that are threaded? This one definitely isn't threaded

Yes. And looking at that it didn't look threaded. Made to be 'made', and left there by the looks.

The fenix is shit compared to my de domed maxtoch. Come pick mine up if you want a try monkey. I'm pretty impressed with the maxtoch. The protected Panasonic batts are a little long tho so that's a bit of a pain.

Hi all, How long did it take for your M24's to arrive? Mine got shipped around the 24th of October and the supposed tracking website just says "in transit" since the 28/10/14
