I'm a bit old skool as far as knives, and still run a very aged Victorinox skinning knife as my primary hunting knife - but always have one of these cheapies in my pocket when on the hill.

I then switch back to a Buck for my everyday carry.

Not expensive knives, so no major crying if I drop them.

Tried a few folders over the years but that one just seemed to live in my pocket and the others lived in a draw

My Seki City Japan made Spyderco is rediculously sharp and has a lightening open speed. Weighs nothing.

Mine lives somewhere. Wish I could find it again
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

Ferber gator fan myself. USA made with good steel and nice rubber handles cleans up easy. Solid feel but not heavy.

Since I'm beering up at the moment I'll just say I'm working on a few fixed blades at the moment, don't fold at all but good steel and good kydex sheaths, plus good price...
