A warm set of cloths back at your car/truck . Good if you get cold and wet also if you carried out a animal.
I keep to the basic's when day hunting but depends where i am hunting and what time of year.
I said I had a knife! Haha of course a gun.
Thanks everyone for the replies I’ll add a few things to my list including basic first aid kit and a few things to get me through the night if it comes to that.
For food I’ll either use OSM and home made jerky or some other kind of energy bar.

"Any fool can take a raincoat on a wet day".
I think a raincoat of some description is a smart move. Especially if you have to spend an unplanned night out.
It's all right till it's all wrong.
@DavidGunn, I'm curious what you consider "unnecessary" and why ?

How the hell can you hunt hauling all that gear - he going for a "day hunt"
If you go hunting with the idea you might get lost - stay home
I suppose its comes down to if he is hunting or shooting - I will leave that to your imagination what the difference means
