something i will always have in the house. fire extinguishers.
came home one day to find a car with smoke bellowing out of it while 3 teens watched. managed to get enough flames out to disconnect the battery then got the garden hose onto it till the brigade turned up.
used to extinguishers on the job but the kids bought me 2 new ones a day later.

+1 for suppressors, so much more civilised shooting rabbits with the 223.
Also a big ass torch I built for spotlighting rabbits, daylight to 500m makes spotting pretty easy

I second that. Purchased initially for clay target shooting, I discovered that turned right up for duck hunting I can hear the birds wings much further out. I also must try them deer hunting, again turned right up apparently they work very well.

Peltor Sport Tacs - they are digital verses some of the analog ones out there. There might be newer models out now- I’ve been using them for a few years now.

Oh and for $10-$20 you just buy a new hygiene kit which has new foam internals and new Outer cushions - they just clip into place - one benefit of the Peltor brand - they probably make more out of hygiene kits as guys at work wearing std Peltors daily probably get a new kit every couple of months.

Merino base layers. I run hot and these have been a game changer for me.
Would not go back to fleece or polyprop ever again.

I was just about to post the same, though mine still have the original zips, and 25 years or so of hookgrass!
