    These units are bloody great.

I had a 62s for over a year and it never let me down once.

Easy to use and bloody accurate.

Get one you wont regret it.

Only reason I sold my 62s at the beginning of the year was to buy a Garmin Rino 650 because I wanted to combine the GPS with a 5W Radio.

    Cheers

P38, wat are the rink 650 like, I looked into them as I feel they would be a priceless bit of kit for me and a mate as we always split up when hunting, but price wise they get costly, but I know of a website in auz where U can buy two for $650

The Rino 650 is a bloody good GPS and Radio combo.

I bought mine from Johnny Appleseed GPS in Brisbane

They come into their own when you also have a hunting mate with one as you can radio and send silent text messages as well as update each others positions so you can keep track of where your mate is on the map.

If you do get some let me know and I can hook you up with the Topo Maps.

    Cheers

Oh awesome, cheers for that, that's the same place I found the two rinos for, its cheaper to buy two of those (go halves with a mate) then buy a normal one, and you end up with two, also which battery did you use as they look a little bulky

I went with the standard battery and the cigarette lighter charger ..... my mate also bough the AA adapter but has never used it.

I use the charger off a small spotlight battery to charge for multiday hunts when room allows or charge it off my Quad.

Battery life is good. but it will run down quick if your constantly using the radio on full power.

That said I've never run the battery down yet.

    Cheers
