Group Buy - Maxtoch Hunter X Pro (Longest range LED model)

Just thought I'd post this possible group buy from the website budgetlightforum . It is a narrow beam, but if 50 people were interested that would bring the price to $89 usd ($126 nzd) which is a damn good price.

    Pricing groups:

    1-9 units $125 usd
    10-19 $109
    20-49 $99
    50+ $89

If interested, please click on the link above and put your name down.

    Specs:

    Lumens: 1000 (measured 771)
    Range: 2000m (measured 1762m)

    AliExpress link for full specs.

If interested you need to put your name down over there since it's not my group buy, nor do I want to chase up anyone here.

I bought the new 2X. The cap spring was too low and the torch would not light. Silly me tried to extend the spring to get a connection and it came off the base. Luckily another cap off an earlier model fitted. The beam is great but the build quality ex our kiwi lads is sadly lacking. My 2C.

Were you using the protected Maxtoch batteries or unprotected button tops?

Maxtoch. The cap spring was far too low. I also replaced the O rings. Dont get me started. The beam is ok. The quality finish is poor. You also need to lube the thread for the cap. The machining is industrial not swiss fit.
