Just got some pliers on it, snapped the bolt and everything fell to bits. I think the little internal nut was too tight but I couldn't loosen it off, I sure hope there's a replacement bolt available.

Failing all else, an engineer can drill out for you. All is not lost!
Buy a Harris they said, never regret buying quality they said.

Got a welder

I might look out for a podlock but that's me done with bipods from here on in - lucky it's only on the .22 and the damn thing can stay there
It's an insult to the functionality of a machine when you have to buy the aftermarket fix-up as well just to make it perform the way it is meant to.
I certainly won't be touching another Harris again
With hindsight....it might have been better to return it to ur supplier, pulled the warranty and or fit for purpose clause. Unless u bought it second hand, then its caveat emptor. A friendly engineer could surely sort it before ur trip unless u want only original parts. ......
You're right SiB. Unfortunately their hours aren't exactly convenient for me. Definitely my fault it's in pieces and I don't expect to be looked after warranty wise, but the fact it didn't work like it said on the packet has left me with a sour taste.
Cable ties have held bits of my cars together for years and held it together for a few hours today which was mint!
If ya can't fix to me, I'll fix it for you, no charge
Boom, cough,cough,cough
If it looks stupid but it works, it ain't stupid
All sorted! New bolt was $4 from the shop, happy days.
