    300lb mono won't tangle, same diameter.

    Wrap it end to end around a piece of core flute about the size of a phone. Put a couple of slits in the ends of the core flute so you can pinch the ends in to start and finish it. Then slip it into a zip lock bag so it doesn't get messed with while in your pack.
    Experience. What you get just after you needed it.

    I was told its cause melinials are too thick (not words used) to work it out...they will tangle it up....FFS if they cant undo one end...doah...try the other!!!!! seems coiling around your forearm and wrapping around middle then tucking end is the norm again...tapes are tied in a granny knot...ooops an overhand knot......my how times have changed.
