They should treat you well. I’ve got the quest prime, very happy with them. Super light, solid enough for the most part, just lack a little rigidity for sidling nasty stuff. Got my sportivas for that, though.

There are some excellent boots going second hand, often barely used, for very reasonable prices on trademe. Just have to keep an eye out, be patient for the right size and class of boot to pop up.

They'll be sweet. I got the Quest Element gtx and they're awesome. Wouldn't wear them in the cold but for North Island bush they're perfect.

They’re an awesome boot, lightweight and won’t need breaking in.

The sole wasn’t flat, it’s slightly curved so I don’t get a solid grip when walking.

I also find they don’t breathe aswell as they should so the boots end up wet from sweaty feet.

I ended up buying a pair of Lowa Rangers for NZ$320 imported here into NZ and they’re a great boot, PM me if you want more info on where I got them.

As for the Zulus I just use them as a general work boot cutting trees/wood
I also have the zulu's. they just dont feel right when I walk in them. feels crazy to ditch them and buy new boots but it will be a bigger disaster if they fail on me in the mountains.
I'll pm you for that overseas buyer if I can?
