    Board due to shit weather and working in the shop today so here's what I carry in my pikau and bum bag the only thing's not in the photo is water bladder and my matches are wrapped in the hi vis vest.

    Not trying to preach, but I hope you keep your comass apart from all that metal . I went to use one recently that had been stored next to an axe and found it had reversed.

    it sits in my bum bag it hasn't reversed yet(3 years now)

    It screws into my knife and then into a camera or video camera so no need for a tripod in the bush.My good mate made it for me.

    That's amazing. I have never before heard of a compass reversing an axe head. That would piss you off.

    I have a pile of compasses that I've used for teaching map work. Just being stored together has caused about half the compasses to reverse polarity.

    GM I bet you could sell those as Northern Hemisphere compasses on Trademe and some dumb asses would buy them
