The ones I got have a dwr coating on them but are not designed to be waterproof as such but good for a passing shower.
4way stretch fabric with a good cut and pockets.
He he is wasting a Jug of Waikato :-(

I'd be looking for some pants that have some internal waist adjustments if possible.
This is what I'm trying to avoid. I really like the Stoney creeks and my first pairs still going strong after 4 years and the second sets going good too but I hate wearing a belt as they always end up making there way on to my hip pointers with a big load and if I remove the belt I look like I'm about to drop a 90s rap album.

Reckon sizing is all up to buggery at times.
Mind you reckon at some stage you hit that sweet spot where clothing fits.
When you transition from skinny young fella to "fat" older bloke.
I had a set of montanes but the least waist was so aggressive my size it made me feel crook after awhile. Other than that they were great. To put it another way my 50kg slim partner now where's them and while they are a bit baggy they aren't trying to cleave her in half.

Heard quite a few recommendations for these. May have to hold out for a sale to try them though.

The sets that look most like what Id want don't seem to have any smaller sizes. I'm not one for tonnes of pockets just you standard pockets and the rest clean. Probably the 80 cm waist model.

    I can get all sizes
Not only that - most models come in different leg sizes
    eg
Someone 6'2' but a thoroughbred build
    34" waist 36 or 38" inner leg

I can get any size to order
I was not going to order every size and find no one wants then
    So not problem
About 2 - 3 weeks for something I not already have in stock
Have a lot of sizes arriving hope next few days

Good to hear about the sizing as when you are a 30" waist and 29" leg just about nothing in NZ fits hence why I pretty much only ever wear shorts year round and if its cold thermals underneath

I am doing an order now
    The least - inner leg measurement available is 30" (28"w 30"L or 30"w 30" L)

That is in the M-Tac Trousers
But also shorts in both M-Tac & Camo-Tec

I feel your pain. I own two pairs of trousers, both have had to meet a seamstress to make them fit.
Even though my legs reach the ground like everyone else's do, I feel most people have legs that are way too long.
