    Hi
I use one of these solar powered lanterns that weigh 125 grams and provide more than enough light for the evening chores in camp. Only $40

This is a 10/10 product. 82ish grams, a pillow too. Last ages and solar top up. Great value. https://survive-it.co.nz/product/luminaid-packlight-16/

    Either one of these https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3285...21d84c4dDFkzYr

Or take one of these, and a USB power bank

Thanks @scottrods. Just ordered one of the second link. Chose the 1m version and 3.6W should be heaps for camp lighting. I assume the dry bag is semi transparent. Will do a review once it arrives

The bag that comes with the luminoodle version is translucent, chuck the light in it and hang in a tent for a softer light.

It arrived a few days ago so within 3 weeks of ordering. Pleased with that.
Ordered and paid for the 1m version however received the 1.5m :-)
It puts out a very impressive amount of light. Even in the translucent bag it lit up our living area quite well. In a hut it'd definitely be overkill bright if not in the bag. Hanging in trees without bag it'll be fantastic for area lighting. Tried to take some photos but phone couldn't capture it in any useful way.

    I’ve used a ledlenser ML6

    Uses an 18650 battery. Robust

A tad heavy if backpacking I guess

I have been using one of these for a few years now. It runs on an 18650 battery (and goes forever) and will easily light up a hut.
It has proved to be indestructible. Can't remember the number of times I have dropped it and it just keeps going.
