    Inreach Hire

    I am sure i read on here that there a few companies hire them out for the life of me i can't find the post.
    Any one point me in the right direction

    If you’re passing through chch on the way down you can hire them direct from trackme

    Trek and Travel in Hamilton hire them out. $5/day or something ridiculously cheap like that.

    Awesome bits of kit. One of the best additions to my hunting setup, especially on those backcountry multi day trips.

    Great peice of kit pity its subscription only. At $30 a month most can't justify the cost. I can't hence why I only have a plb

    With the exception of the one off annual fee I do like how the freedom plan allows you to deactivate for the months you won’t need to use it and avoid paying those months unnecessarily.

    I asked them the other day, they dont hire them out. They have packs for hire though.

    That must be fairly new but again $400 a year, guess I could get rid of my cellphone and just have an inreach

    I ended up hiring a mountain radio for the week from Bookings

    Twice daily weather forecasts and can call up the family and chopper whenever we like. Sounds like the way to go for the fiordland ballots anyway.
