I was just in the middle of ordering a few things and the sale time must have ended. It suddenly did a refresh and all the prices went up..
Fucking shitty I reckon when it’s in the cart and you’re making payment…
Yes they are rather like Brisco’s in that respect.
As to the gear, can only reiterate what the others have said, bloody good stuff.
My Kenai Jacket. I leave it in my lack like this.
I also have the Kenai pants. Once you try puffer pants you’ll be hooked!
I'm glad I made my order before the sale ended however my credit card isn't looking too healthy but I know the gear is solid and it'll last me a long time as opposed to other brands.
CraigC, that's not what i wanna hear in regards to the puffer pants!
Kuiu, the "Gucci of Hunting Clothing". It cracks me up how they can market, with a straight face, might I add, "no retailer mark up". Just had a look (post sale) at a pair of shorts for a laugh, NZD$177. I don't know what shorts sell for in the States, but Hunters Element/Swazi/Huntech $39-$89. Will the camo (I guess you have to use the right camo pattern of the 3 or 4 they offer for the particular hunt, and I assume used with the complete Kuiu head to toe system) make me invisible? Really. I admire what Jason Harrington achieved both with Sitka and Kuiu, amazing the power of brand. Good kit there, no doubt, but other brands produce amazing gear, particularly in the backpack space, particularly under weight (Stone Glacier and Exo come to mind). So do your research before spending your hard earned USD.

I'll admit, I had a few things in my shopping cart but couldn't go through with the purchase. Felt like I was being had even at those discounted prices. I'll stick with my swazi fleece for now. I'll get one of their tents one day though.
I ordered a pair of Attack pants. They are my 2nd pair. I haven't found anything as good as them yet.
Received my Northridge jacket today, pretty quick turnaround -- quality and fit is excellent. As others mentioned these are shorter in the body which doesn't bother me but may be a deal breaker for others. Cracking weather at the moment so might be a while before I try it out (here's hoping) but it's so light it can stay in the pack full-time.
