    I did this for in a 2012 Imprezza and it does make a big difference. The bulbs are pricy though. Narva Sapphire Plus 50. Got them at Repco.

    Another thing to watch for with grunting bulbs is sometimes the load is too much for the switch in the stalk.
    I know the earlier hiluxs were like that.
    A good trick was to get a relay loom to plug into the back of the lights.
    Full power from the circuit and stalk only used for switching

    One of these expensive poncy white light bulbs just shat itself after only 3 months. Not impressed! The $20 replacement pair is on its way from Aliexpress. Well see how they go.
