    I'm thinking a Nitecore NU25 could be worth a look to ?

    There is a $5 difference between the 25 and the 32.
    The only advantage the 25 has over the 32 is weight and at 76 grams the 32's weight is negligible unless you're a trail runner and even then, the superior battery life and throw would outweigh that.
    I have no idea why they have not discontinued the 25 line.

    So you are saying look up to NU32 then, I was told the older NU20 was a great light for a simple light ?

    The NU20 has a 30 minute beam to 80m on turbo. Drop it down to the high setting and you'll get 6 hours. It is very simple if thats what you're after and its 10 bucks cheaper than the NU32.
    The NU32 is no more difficult to use. On off button operates in the same manner.
